Mr Silk wrote a good article on social care that is on the ball. Sadly in my view it is all election talk – everyone is going to do something for the elderly. Mr Johnson promised on the steps of number 10 and some MPs have spoken out that he has not even mentioned it since that day.
No matter who gets in power it will probably be lost at the bottom of the pile. The Westminster system is broken. I and others do what we can to speak out but I am not a councillor or in government only an advocate for the people that need social care and free TV licences at 75.
