A letter from G. Laidler – Standing charges

A letter from G. Laidler – Standing charges

What’s the point of saving electricity? My supplier charges 29 pence a day standing charge. Even if you go on holiday for a week you still owe that supplier £2.03 even though you haven’t used the service. It’s like printing your own money or a guaranteed income!
