Regarding your article State Pension Age Has To Rise Further I am not in the least surprised that a think tank headed by Iain Duncan Smith is proposing the idea. IDS is opposed to the concept of the welfare state including pensions.
He is also the father of the Universal Credit system which puts people either in debt or on the streets!
As a 63 year old disabled person on benefits, I fear the re-introduction of the workhouse and abolition of the Welfare State whilst IDS is anywhere near the system.
