I see a lot has been made of the new tax rights for future pensioners; what about the £500 plus taken away from existing pensioners by the Conservative party. Back in 2011 pensioners had Tax Credit of £10,500; the Conservatives froze this until this year when it went up by £10,600.
If the 2011 value had risen in line with the standard Tax Credit it would have been in the region of £13,625 (more for pensioners born before 6 April 1938). This may seem small fry to pensioners on £27k plus, but to the rest of use it would help towards our necessities
