Contributions to www.maturetimes.co.uk

Where you are invited to submit any contribution to www.maturetimes.co.uk (including any text, photographs, graphics, video or audio) you agree by submitting your contribution, to grant HHPL a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, play, make available to the public, and exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to your contribution worldwide and / or to incorporate your contribution in other works in any media now known or later developed for the full term of any rights that may exist in your contribution, and in accordance with privacy restrictions set out in HHPL’s privacy policy. If you do not want to grant HHPL the rights set out above then please do not submit your contribution to www.maturetimes.co.uk.

Further to the above paragraph, by submitting your contribution to www.maturetimes.co.uk you:

  • Warrant that your contribution is your own original work and that you have the right to make it available to HHPL for all the purposes specified above.
  • Warrant that it is not defamatory.
  • Warrant that it does not infringe any law.
  • Warrant that it does not infringe any existing copyrights

Further, by submitting your contribution to www.maturetimes.co.uk you indemnify HHPL against all legal fees, damages and other expenses that may be incurred by HHPL as a result of your breach of the above warranty and you also waive any moral rights in your contribution for the purposes of its submission to and publication on www.maturetimes.co.uk and the purposes specified above.

You agree to use www.maturetimes.co.uk in accordance with the following rules.

House Rules

We will from time to time publish e-mails and other correspondence from contributors whether these were solicited by us, or were sent to us unsolicited.

When we publish such e-mails or correspondence we will not publish individual e-mail addresses nor will we publish personal contact information.

We reserve the right not to publish e-mails or other correspondence which:-

  • Are considered likely to disrupt, provoke, attack or offend others,
  • Are racist, sexist, homophobic, sexually explicit, abusive or otherwise objectionable,
  • Contain swear words or other language likely to offend,
  • Break the law or condone or encourage unlawful activity. This includes breach of copyright, defamation and contempt of court,
  • Advertise products or services for profit or gain,
  • Are seen to or are believed to impersonate someone else,
  • Include contact details such as phone numbers, postal or e-mail addresses,
  • Are written in anything other than English,
  • Contain links to other websites that we consider unsuitable
  • Describe or encourage activities which could endanger the safety or well being of others,
  • Are considered to be ‘spam’.

HHPL welcomes feedback, both positive and negative, about our site and its contents – all we ask is that you make sure any comments are in line and comply with the above rules.

HHPL reserves the right to delete any contribution that may be posted on the site, or to refuse to publish any contribution submitted to the site, or to take action against any user of the site, at anytime, and for any reason.

General

If there is any conflict between these terms and specific terms appearing elsewhere on www.maturetimes.co.uk then the latter shall prevail at all times.

If any of these terms are determined to be illegal or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country in which these terms are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that term is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and the remaining terms shall survive, remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.

These terms and conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
