On your letters page (May 2016) Robin Roy asked if the Rainbows Pen Pal Club was still in existence. Indeed it is and it brings a lot of pleasure to a lot of people, many of whom do not own computers and rely on ‘snail mail’ to help them to keep in touch with their friends.
For many older people the highlight of their day is the arrival of the postman with a letter or two. The joy is in the reading of their letters and in replying. Long live the Rainbows!
