As winter approaches we are once again faced with turning up the heat. Constantly firms ring about free replacement boilers if you are on benefits. But why is Disability Living Allowance not classed as one of these benefits? Surely if you are disabled you are in the need of your boiler being in good working order, more so than anybody. If you claim tax benefits or pension benefits you can receive one. Is disability not a worthy cause?
