On the front page of the November issue you talk of lies and fabrications made by both sides in the EU referendum debate. As one who has opposed UK membership of the EU for over forty years I very much object to this characterisation. “Project Fear” was exclusively the creation of the Remain campaign, and their ridiculous assertions have indeed been shown to be lies.
However, apart from one foolish confusion of a gross figure for a net in relation to additional monies possibly available to the NHS I defy anyone to produce any lie or fabrication attributable to the Leave campaign. In addition our motives had nothing to do with xenophobia and everything to do with the right of the British people to govern themselves. The suggestion that any deceits were six of one and half a dozen of the other is completely untrue.
