The travel review site and advice forum for travellers aged 50+, Silver Travel Advisor (www.silvertraveladvisor.com), is once again encouraging aspiring travel writers to attend their travel writing workshop, to be held on Wednesday 14th May 2014 hosted by cruise line Noble Caledonia at their offices in Belgravia, Central London, at a cost of £59 per person – with a 10% discount for Mature Times readers.

As previously, the workshop is run by experienced journalists Deborah Stone and Nick Dalton, who have many years’ experience of working on national newspapers, including the Telegraph, The Times, Daily and Sunday Express, magazines and travel guide books.

The course runs from 10am – 2pm and covers motivations and inspirations for travel writing, and there are plenty of opportunities to review sample articles and to write creatively.

The subject of blogging is explored with tips and advice on setting up your own blog and a questions and answers session.

Debbie Marshall from Silver Travel Advisor said “We’re so fortunate to have such exceptionally experienced and talented travel writers on board to run our travel writing workshop, and these have already proved to be very successful and popular events with excellent feedback”.

Places on the workshops are limited and can be booked by emailing service@silvertraveladvisor.com stating the number of places required.

Mature Times readers can benefit from a discount of 10%, which includes the workshop and also drinks, snacks, and working lunch during the day.
