My Letter to Santa (via the Mature Times)

My Letter to Santa (via the Mature Times)

Dear Father Christmas

I know this is a bit early, but I wanted to get this in before my family start buying me the usual scarves and bath salts.

What I really want is anything and everything from this list:

1.  I would like a pair of sparkly earrings, the more dazzling the better.  I want to be over the top from the earlobes down.  If anyone can afford diamonds so much the better.

2.  A voucher for Agent Provocateur so I can choose myself some pretty but comfortable underwear (sorry darling but black is so difficult to wear under anything I have.)

3.  I want a tablet computer and some training sessions. Tell my grandchildren to chose it so I get the best one.

4. The finest delicate porcelain mug for my early morning cup of tea and no-one else is allowed to use it.

5.  A Cashmere cardigan in soft powder blue or ivory with pearl or crystal buttons.

6.  If I must have bath stuff can it be just one expensive bottle of bath foam rather than a gift set?

7.  A starter kit for painting.  I should love to make beautiful pictures and although I know I have no talent it would be nice to have a go.

8.  Some real leather gloves.

9.  Slippers that don’t look like slippers – no fluffiness or fur or lambswool – and maybe a little heel.

10.  A box of chocolates that no one else likes, dark bitter chocolate to be eaten as few or as many at a time, it’s up to me.

I know this all sound very selfish but in exchange for this I will cook Christmas dinner, or if I get an invitation to someone else’s house, I shall wash up.

Christmas is not just for the children it is for everyone.  Let’s think about older people too and what they really want Santa to bring them!

What do you want for Christmas – please do send us your lists and we will let Santa know? Ed.
