You might think to go on safari, you need to jump on a plane to some far-flung destination, but that’s not the case. There are several littered throughout the country that allow you to enjoy exotic creatures from the comfort of your own car.
Over the years, these safaris have increased in popularity as Britons become more interested in animals from around the world. As such, you can find animals from Africa and Asia in the UK entertainment industry. How about something completely unique that you have never thought of doing before? The UK and England are home to some of the more obscure activities and events in the world and are perfect to bring a touch of excitement to your day out. A Bogsnorkelling competition is held in Wales annually; you could handle owls at a number of different national centres, or you could watch cheese rolling down a hill every spring in Gloucester.
Remember, it doesn’t take a trip to Italy to take in some ancient Roman architecture, or South Africa to see lions, or even France to see cheese, the UK has you covered and you’re promised a day to remember.
