Janice Foster tries out the David range of swimwear
When someone asks if you’d like a new set of swim wear to try out, I’m slightly hesitant as I like to stick to what I know, but I do love swimming!
I’m not sure, however, if anyone else enjoys me swimming in my usual trusty black cossie I’ve had for years, which shows every lump, bump and wobbly bit I have decided must STILL be baby weight. Yes. Years and years of baby weight… I’m pretty sure as a grandmother I can still get away with that excuse…can’t I?
But when I saw the David range of swimwear from Patricia-Eve, I was smitten. Such beautiful colours, and different styles, all modelled on a beautiful, tall, slim woman, albeit in awe, I scoffed at the thought that I could pull it off.
But alas the sets turned up (both the bikini and the full costume) and I put them on – in the privacy of my own bedroom, of course. I was shocked. The full costume covers a multitude of sins, the pattern draws away from everything I don’t like on show, and the snazzy side tie makes my waist look at least a few inches smaller!
Moulded cups ensure I felt supported and the wide straps are incredibly comfortable.
The entire range of David Swimwear is pretty and aiming towards comfort first. Fantastic for those of all sizes and shapes and there really is something for everyone.
The price tag is a little more than I would normally spend, but for a treat, a holiday, or something to make you feel utterly feminine, I would highly recommend!
