As part of their Heartwarming Heroes Campaign, aimed at helping older people to stay warm this winter, Heinz Soup have partnered with the Royal Voluntary Service and donated approximately 9000 cans of soup to the North East and Northumberland Hubs of the Royal Voluntary Service.
To kick start the campaign in the Tees Valley area, volunteers Tracey Smith and Dennis Woodhall (pictured) recently attended a Christmas Party, organised by Teesside University and Middlesbrough Council where they handed out bags containing tins of soup to the 80 people who attended the party.
