Older people’s charity, Royal Voluntary Service and Community Christmas have teamed up to provide a website listing events and activities happening up and down the country that have their doors open and welcome older people on Christmas Day.
Just search by town or postcode for a whole host of new options for Christmas 2014. People who are holding events, or have space at their table for an older neighbour, are encouraged to register them for free on the website. Take a look at communitychristmas.org.uk.
