The National Insulation Association (NIA) is reminding householders that all major energy suppliers have recently increased their prices this winter and so it’s a great concern that many people may resort to leaving their homes unheated for fear that they won’t be able to pay their energy bills. However, there is a simple way they can bring these bills down without compromising their quality of life – and that’s by insulating their homes.
By simply installing cavity wall and loft insulation, a saving of up to £310* per year can be made. The savings are even greater for insulating solid walls and lofts with savings up to £635** per year.
