I have just been reading with interest the item on poor hospital food. I live in Leyland, Lancashire and have recently spent many weeks in three hospitals Blackpool Victoria and Chorley Hospital and also some chemotherapy time in Preston Hospital Rosemere cancer centre.
I have to say the food I received during my stay was absolutely excellent in all three hospitals and I thought very nutritious, it arrived every day on time and piping hot, also there was the choice of three or four options including the same number of options on the sweets.
We must be very lucky living where we do in Lancashire and being served by three such great establishments. So I would like to sing their praises in your paper if I could.
