Three different young women with their own stories to tell. You know that in the end they will be linked as the book progresses but initially I was happy to treat them as separate and to follow the twist and turns of their interesting lives.
Hallie has cystic fibrosis and her life is limited in execution and time. Despite being restricted by her illness she is happy, lively and surrounded by friends. You don’t feel sorry for her as she never feels sorry for herself but you know she deserves more. This is Jill Mansell after relating this tale and she is always good for an entertaining read.
Tasha is madly in love with her boyfriend as he with her except he loves adrenelin and dangerous adventures nearly as much.
This is a good read, grown up romance with wit and humour to make this a book you want to devour. It is a pleasurable, satisfying and a ‘read in bed when you can’t sleep’ sort of book.
It is easy to see why Jill Mansell has sold over 7 million books world-wide and will continue to be a bestselling author as long as she carries on writing books like these.
