A letter from Susan Rugg – Completely gruntled

RE the correspondence about language, there is actually a word ‘ gruntled ’, defined in my 2011 edition of the Concise Oxford Dictionary as a humorous word meaning pleased or satisfied, and coined in the 1930s as a back-form from ‘disgruntled’.
