Top 5 apps for older people

Ofcom recently announced that the number of people aged 65 and over accessing the internet has risen by more than a quarter in the past year, driven by a three-fold increase in the use of tablet computers.

As more and more over 65s are accessing apps through tablet computers and smartphones Puzzler Media Ltd has put together a list of the top five apps for older people.

Here are Puzzler World’s top five apps for over 65s:

1. TuneIn Radio (TuneIn): TuneIn lets users listen to the world’s radio, including sports, news, talk and music streaming, opening a gateway to entertainment and information from every continent. Great for accessing niche radio stations, as well as providing easy access to local radio channels – favourite stations can be saved in one handy list.
