A letter from Miss Whittington – Banks

A letter from Miss Whittington – Banks

I wondered if any more readers had experienced this kind of trauma from their bank. Having had a bad fall i was in hospital for exhaustion, then transferred to a care home. I also had my leg put in plaster from ankle to thigh for 6 weeks meaning i couldn’t get out. I couldn’t even get into a car to get into town in order to visit my bank to catch up with my payments, meanwhile because the payments were getting refused the bank charges went on and on. Writing to the bank manager to explain was of no use, he didn’t even acknowledge my letter, bad manners to say the least. Now, to date, i’m still getting notes as to how much i owe. How do all these banks justify all these type of charges when it’s an emergency? Have they not heard the expression humanity? I’m still not walking properly after all this time. Something must be done to stop this money making by the banks. i know it’s a business but surely there are a few exceptions.
