I’m happy to read in your Comment that I can lose weight by using a `desert` size plate!
On a more serious note….I am nearly eighty-six and I am tired of my contemporaries complaining that they must `heat or eat`.
They all, like myself, receive a more than adequate Winter Fuel Allowance – £300 if they are over eighty.
We only have three or four months of really cold weather; £100 a month should be ample.
I am no great supporter of this government, but I must be fair.
