You can’t put a price on life

Dear sir,

Up to a few years ago the fuel allowance was 250 pounds and then the government lowered it to 200 pounds. Due to the increase in heating charges, should they now increase it again to at least 250 pounds again?

This would help pensioners and the disabled to keep warm in winter and not sit in the cold and cut the many admissions to hospital from cold related illnesses and maybe save lives in the end.

After all you can’t put a price on someone’s life.
