Making the decision to retire is one of the most significant life decisions an individual will make.
As a volunteer with Age Scotland’s ‘Now & Next’ brand you will make a difference to the lives of people thinking about or about to retire to help them successfully prepare for the transition into later life.
Our aim is to inspire and engage with individuals through informative and interactive workshops.
We are looking for volunteers to facilitate our workshops who are motivated and invested in ensuring individuals have a great experience and leave the workshop prepared mentally, emotionally and financially to step into retirement and lead a heathier and happier later life.
Full training will be provided for volunteers to build confident and skills to deliver the workshops. Two volunteers will facilitate each workshop and the workshops combine sessions delivered by local professionally qualified guest speakers with many other important topics such as health & well-being, further education & volunteering and coping with change.
