I have recently retired and found your newspaper in my local library and now have registered online. I am struggling to find things to do in my local area – it really isn’t easy.
I have joined a fortnightly club by being introduced by a friend and I do have friends, but I can see the winter being a long one.
I enjoyed my work but am enjoying my retirement but just wish there were more things I could do without relying on friends that have their own social life.
