Don’t always blame the food! I spent 10 days in our excellent local hospital. I found the food tasteless, even the tea was odd. After 5 or 6 days it all began to taste better. By the time I left, it all tasted really good, even the tea. This makes me wonder whether, after anaesthetics, taste buds don’t function properly, hence all the complaints. Perhaps there is evidence for this.
