Like your reader I too have stopped watching TV. I realised what few hours I was watching were nearly all repeats. So when the digibox packed up I returned my licence. I’ve since had letters (slightly menacing) telling me to ring TV licencing.
1st time took 30 minutes with a lovely young man who’d obviously not been trained in what to do with people who no longer watch TV! I then had 2 more letters so rang to complain & had to go through process again but this time woman was fully trained so ONLY took 10 minutes!
Hopefully they’ll stop being such a nuisance now!
