Thank you for your balanced front page article in issue no 266 dated June 2014. The most important argument for the EU is that this institution has maintained the peace in Europe for almost 70 years.
There is every reason to suppose that this peace will continue, provided all member countries, including the UK, continue to work at it.
The arguments about the costs and benefits are trivial by comparison.
