Hospital parking should be free

Hospital parking should be free

Why should patients, visitors or carers pay to park a car at a NHS hospital in this country? In my eyes this is profiting from people’s poor health, many who are elderly and have paid into the system for years.

At a supermarket you have a choice to shop there or not, but what choice do you have when visiting a hospital? As many get older their chances of going to hospital increases and should not be exploited by the hospitals to make money.

People going to hospital with their, or their carers’ cars, should be allowed by the Government to park them for free whether they are visiting or receiving treatment.
