Get the kettle on and have a cup of Tea for RNIB

Leading sight loss charity RNIB (Royal National Institute of Blind People) is calling on tea and cake lovers across the region to get the kettle on, show off their baking skills and host a tea party, to raise vital funds.

There are currently around 2 million people living with sight loss in the UK and the Tea for RNIB parties will help RNIB to continue delivering crucial practical and emotional support.

RNIB’s Fundraising Manager, Becca McRow, said:

“We are calling on local communities to help us to raise funds by hosting a tea party. Everyone loves a cup of tea and a slice of cake and the great thing about this event is that people can be as creative as they like with their tea party. From high tea with cucumber sandwiches and a glass of fizz to a slice of banana bread and a mug of builder’s tea, there’s no excuse not to get involved.”
