I am very concerned at the rate of interest charged by funeral companies when paying by installment for a prepaid funeral plan. The charges range from 6% to 25% plus an installment change. Which is more than the most expensive credit card!
This feels like exploitation of the elderly, considering that one can get a bank loan these days for 6 or 7% interest.
I note that the company behind the Age UK, Post Office and others, is Dignity, who are they? why do the prices vary slightly when they are all using the same company?
