Would you like to be involved or be an extra for TV?

Oxford Scientific Films, a leading TV production company in London behind the famous “Meerkat Manor” series and more recently “The Queens Garden”, is currently working on a new science documentary for ITV on the biology behind ageing.

The film is the latest episode of our “The Secret Life of…” series, which has included Dogs, Cats, Babies and Twins, and we’re hoping to find some seniors (aged 70 and above) interested in being involved in our filming.

The film, although strongly rooted in science, will be a very human and intimate portrayal of what happens as we age. The film will be celebration of that process – a positive representation of the ageing community in the UK, showing ultimately that 70+ can be a great age to be.

The programme will be fun, light hearted, and visually extraordinary with astonishing scientific facts. Topics will include the ageing workforce; longevity (exercise, diet); community living; falling in love; creativity and many others.

As part of our section on love and relationships, we are looking for a couple who are getting married over the next few months (or who have recently been married), as we’d love to film their story and prove romance can grab us at any age.

We’re also interested in finding some extras around the London area for a few other roles throughout the film.

We have a variety of different parts that we’d love to fill, and can assure it will be a fun-filled day with a brilliant and friendly crew.

If you’d like to be involved, or know someone that would be great to get in touch with, we’d be delighted to hear from you.

To get in touch, or find out any further information please do contact us by telephone on 0203 551 4609 or by email Joseph Russell at jrussell@oxfordscientificfilms.tv.

We look forward to hearing from you…
