But all that is changing with the introduction of captioning through a company called Stagetext, and their growing success means that more and more theatres across the UK are throwing open their doors to anyone with hearing difficulties - at no extra cost.

On Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th February 2008, there will be open auditions for children aged between 8 and 18 years for parts including Mowgli, Baloo, Bagheera in an amateur charity performance (GWR Kids) of Rudyard Kipling's, The Jungle Book .
