You might like to know how people are trained to hard-sell charities by phone to the public. I know because I tried a call-centre job which was doing exactly this. I gave it up after only five days! And even the call-centre said they had a huge turnover of people because very few can handle doing such a horrible job.

When the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and other TV companies broadcast via terrestrial (analogue and digital), cable or satellite they are regulated by OFCOM and have to comply with subtitling targets laid down by Government.

However, what will happen when they broadcast via unregulated routes such as by PC?

However, once they decide to broadcast by telephone, PC or mobile phone they are unregulated. What they broadcast is entirely up to themselves.

Now that more and more of our laws are made in Europe, is it not time to consider that we have too many MPs - after all we see daily that Parliament is attended by only a few of our elected representatives.
