There are over one million children in the UK who are denied contact with their grandparents due to family breakdown. This can be as a result of separation, divorce, alcohol/drug issues, domestic violence, bereavement or family feud. When grandparents find themselves in this heartbreaking situation they feel isolated and alone.
A group based in Bristol gives advice and support to grandparents who are experiencing denied contact. We give support over the phone, email, via the website or, if local, at our regular meetings. If anyone is interested in setting up a group around the UK we can help them.
There is no membership to be part of Bristol Grandparents Support Group and we specifically focus on denied contact issues.
