"Speaking Out "to Save The Children - volunteers wanted

"Speaking Out", Save the Children’s network of volunteer speakers, are asking MT readers to join them in raising public awareness of the charity's work and inspiring new audiences to donate much-needed funds.

New Volunteer Speakers are urgently needed to deliver engaging, motivating and well informed talks to a variety of audiences across the UK. Everyone will receive training on Save the Children’s work, and on how to deliver talks and engage new supporters.

And every new Speaker will be supported by a volunteer "Speaking Out Co-ordinator" who has responsibility for the personal support of speakers in their team. Time commitment is flexible, but Speakers are encouraged to undertake as many talks as they feel able to do -  aiming for a minimum of six talks a year.
