Please help Trish on her 900 mile dog walk!

An intrepid woman set off in May on an epic walk from John O'Groats to Land's End to raise money for the Dogs Trust and the Oldies Club - and she is asking dog lovers and their dogs to join her along the way to help raise funds for both the charities.
Trish, who has called her journey the 'End to End' walk, wants it to be "one long dog walk!" - and so far she is doing well. Four months down the line she is now in the South West of England - and still going strong.
Her website, www.trishstrudge4dogs.co.uk, carries photos of her walks, and stories of the people she has met along the way. Thanks to the donation of a camper van, she was also able to take her beloved dog Ben with her, aged 14. Loyal to the end, Trish was saddened to have to say goodbye to him only yesterday - which has made her even more determined than ever to raise money for dogs. She said: "During the walk I have visited Dogs' Trust centres, and met people who foster dogs for the Oldies Club before they find permanent homes."
After the walk, Trish intends to write a book called 'What dogs mean to us'. Said Trish: "I especially want to focus on working dogs, for example Collies that herd sheep, dogs for the blind/deaf, dogs that are involved in rescues, police dogs etc. I don't want people to contact me with stories as I can imagine that I would be inundated.
What I would really love is to meet people and their dogs on my walk and for them to tell me what they mean to them.

From mid-September until mid-October, Trish will be 'trudging' the final leg from Bridgwater to Land's End.
