The Cornwall Food & Drink Festival 2008 is back

You will find lots to do and see at the fifth Cornwall Food and Drink Festival, which celebrates the year of food and farming, encouraging young people to understand more about where and how our food is produced as well as bring you tasty and great value local produce. More people than ever are involved with this year’s festival, a sure reflection of how much we all value our local food and drink.

From 26 – 28 September, Truro’s Lemon Quay will be transformed into the stage for the biggest dedicated celebration of local food and drink in the county, the Cornwall Food and Drink Festival 2008. Visitors can look forward to sampling the fresh local delights of more than 60 of Cornwall’s top food and drink producers, from chutney, chocolate and beer, to tea, cakes and ice cream.

Last year saw 20,000 visitors over the three days of this free festival. 2008’s event promises to be bigger and better thanks to the support of major sponsors The Greenbank Hotel, St Austell Brewery, Trelawney Garden Centre and Inside Cornwall and Taste Cornwall Magazines.
