Hands up for naturists

Reading the article on The Strange World of Meetings" (see link below) I was reminded that many years ago, before all the skin cancer scares started, I used to belong to a naturist club.

 

The well attended AGMs were always held (weather permitting) "au naturelle", seated on folding chairs on the main lawn.  On one occasion a rather lugubrious gentleman raised his hand and asked the Chairman, in all seriousness,  "May I stand and pass a motion through the chair."  

 

It took quite some time before the meeting could be brought back to order.
