When you arrive at Lakeside the first thing you notice are the incredible views on all sides. You’re only a 20 minute stroll to the sea and surrounded by a host of seafaring attractions, not that you’ll ever tire of the resort’s own activities, which include everything from archery and air rifle shooting to a 9 hole Pitch ‘n’ Putt (seasonal). Then in the evening, you can sit back and enjoy a dazzling line-up of entertainment in The Chichester Restaurant.

Entertainment
It's non-stop, every night and there's a fantastic range of music, Tribute acts and festive events. The line-up includes: Rock 'n' Roll, The Swinging Sixties, Essential Eighties, Simply Ballroom Experience, The Len Phillips Big Band Festival and King Elvis.
Out And About (times are by car)
Not surprisingly, Lakeside has lots of nautically–inspired places to visit, as well as ancient castles and cities.
Historic Portsmouth: Visit HMS Victory, HMS Warrior and the Mary Rose at the naval centre – twenty five minutes away.
Chichester: A beautiful cathedral city with leading art galleries and excellent shopping – twenty five minutes away.
The D-Day Museum: A fascinating insight into the landings and their background – thirty minutes away.
Arundel castle: A majestic, romantic castle with a magnificent collection of furniture – one hour away.
A Chalet To Suit You
Chalets are located around the resort and all are serviced daily (except Sunday). Twins, doubles, non-smoking and smoking chalets are available.
Standard Chalets
These are included in the price of your break and rooms have an en suite bath with shower, TV and tea and coffee making facilities.

Standard Plus Chalet
These recently refurbished chalets include all the features of a Standard Chalet plus a hairdryer, toiletries and a heated towel rail. Outside enjoy a colourful garden and patio. From £10.
Premier Lodge
An attractive wooden style lodge with superior décor, remote control teletext TV, radio, toiletries, hairdryer, Welcome Pack and a landscaped garden area. From £15.
Supreme Experience Chalet
The last word in chalets, these have a separate lounge area, heated bathroom, 21” TV, Welcome Pack and tea & coffee making facilities. And you’ll be able to pre-book an area in the dining room for your evening meal. From £20.
Smoking chalets will only be available until end of February 2007.
