The Cambridge Rock Festival 2008 hits the right note for classic rock fans

 2008’s Cambridge Rock Festival is proud to announce a very strong series of headliners including Marillion, The Pure Floyd Show, Led Zep Too, John Otway, Bad Company and the Blockheads. The festival which is taking place July 17th to July 20th in Godmanchester is set to be the rock equivalent of the Cambridge Folk Festival.

The Cambridge Rock Festival is set to be a regular part of the music scene both locally and nationally ‘ explains Festival organiser David Roberts ‘ and in time build a reputation for the Cambridge Rock Festival in the same way as over a number of decades the Cambridge Folk Festival has established itself as an icon of the festival season’.

The festival is very much aimed at an older audience, and caravan space and pets are both accodomated for on site. There are 70 bands and over 70 brands of real ale and a great selection of classic food stalls.
