The NSPCC needs you to sign up for this Summer’s Big Bike Ride
11/06/2008
The NSPCC is calling on everyone who can make it onto two wheels to sign up for fresh air, exercise and a fantastic cause - in other words the Big Bike Ride.
Last year grandparents and their grandchildren signed up in droves, and this year the NSPCC wants to see the generations get together again to pedal the ££s to help children enjoy a brighter future.
There are packs available for your own sponsored Big Bike Ride on the weekend of 29th June -1st July, or you can join in with one of the three organised events: Newcastle (28th June), Sussex (26th July) and Cardiff (26th July). Bikes are available to hire and there will be a bike doctor available at all events to ensure that your wheels are in working order.
And you won't just be helping children - you'll also be doing your own health the power of good by burning calories, reducing the risk of a heart attack and reducing mild depression.
For more information on organising your own ride or to find out more about the three big Big Bike Rides visit the website below or call 0845 130 3073.
