Drop in - and raise money for pets

Looking for a bit of excitement this summer? Leading veterinary charity, PDSA, is hoping that you can fulfill an ambition – and raise money for them at the same time. The charity is challenging adrenaline junkies to sign up to the exhilarating experience of a tandem parachute jump to help raise vital funds for pets in need of vets.

Freefalling at a rate of 120mph, the ground hurtles towards you before a fully-qualified instructor pulls the cord of the parachute at just the right moment to guide you back down to earth safe and sound.

“There’s nothing like stepping out of plane at 10,000ft to get the adrenaline pumping!” says PDSA Community Fundraising Manager, Brenda Alexander. “Sky Diving is an amazing experience, plus you will be helping to raise vital funds for sick and injured pets.”

PDSA relies on the generosity of the public to raise the £4 million needed every month to run its PetAid services. The charity cares for over 300,000 pet patients every year. So, if you’re feeling brave and want to push your boundaries, visit the website linked below to find out more.

Working in conjunction with Skyline Parachuting, PDSA offers animal lovers the "op’paw’tunity" to jump at 21 parachute centres around the UK.
