This June, The NEC will be THE place to visit for ideas and suggestions about how to spend the long, hot summer days ahead.  Many people love to spend spare time in the garden and the hugely popular BBC Gardeners’ World Live will provide unlimited inspiration for new projects to enhance your garden as well as practical advice on how to achieve a professional look. 

 

Amidst truly stunning floral displays and breathtaking Show Gardens, a whole host of celebrities including Monty Don, Alan Titchmarsh, Joe Swift and Carol Klein will be giving visitors a wealth of hints and tips on how to recreate the looks at home.

 

Also taking place at the same time will be the BBC Good Food Show Summer with mouthwatering aromas from sizzling barbecues and suggestions for sensational picnics and sophisticated summer dining. 

 

With an emphasis on alfresco dining and light, seductive summer tastes, top celebrity chefs including Gordon Ramsay, James Martin, Lesley Waters, Simon Rimmer and the Hairy Bikers will be entertaining and inspiring audiences.  Drinks, the Fine Wine and Spirits Show will also give invaluable guidance on the best ways to quench your thirst, whatever the occasion.  The BBC Summer Festival also plays host to Beers of the World Live from 13-15 June only, offering a massive selection of refreshing beers, perfect for the long, hot summer days.

 

Elsewhere at the BBC Summer Festival will be dedicated Good Homes and Countryfile magazine areas, as well as a brand new central feature bringing a sustainable future to life by encouraging visitors to travel wisely, save resources, shop fairly and save energy wherever they can. 

 

The Countryfile magazine area will be inspiring visitors to explore and preserve the great outdoors and themed areas hosted by Good Homes magazine will include a focus on the “Fifth Room” and how to make the most of conservatories and garden rooms.
