Stop the mudslinging - some politicians are trying to help

It seems unfortunate when readers of your excellent paper choose to indulge in political mud-slinging. In the April issue, two readers attack Nigel Waterson for his about-turn over the pensions link with average earnings. For goodness sake, this man is trying to help us, and he does not deserve to be kicked in the teeth!

 

Any politician who sees an error in his ways and has the courage to try and make amends deserves to be congratulated.(Messrs Bush and Blair please note!)
