Pavement Pounders back on the streets

After spending the winter giving talks at theArts Depot Finchley and Tate Britain, Dr. Maryanne Grant-Traylen and David Lay will be resuming their popular guided walks around Hampstead and Highgate.
The pair devise and deliver guided walks, which have featured on Radio London, on the rich literary and artistic history of the area.
There are three walks, which are detailed below:
1. Romantics in Hampstead.
In the footsteps of Keats, Shelley and Blake
Every third Saturday from April 12th. 2008.

2. Hampstead between the Wars.
The leading artists, architects and writers of the era were drawn to Hampstead, Creating an exciting artistic community.

3. Coleridge and Highgate.
In 1817 the poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge came to tea with Highgates Doctor Gilman. He stayed 18 years.
