Ease hearing loss isolation with a range of new gadgets

One in seven people in the UK have a hearing loss - a condition that can lead to isolation and depression, according to RNID, the charity for deaf and hard of hearing people.

The charity's retail arm, RNID Products, offers a range of independence-giving products to ensure those who aren't able to hear as well as they used to, can still enjoy their favourite hobbies and importantly retain their lust for life.

Products like the Portable Vibrating Door Chime (pictured above) - a handy alert that can either be clipped to a belt and vibrates like a pager, or can be hung on an outdoor wall as an audible alert are great gadgets for recently retired friends and family who love getting out and about but whose independence is threatened due to a hearing loss.

The Portable Vibrating Door Chime is just one of hundreds of products available from RNID Products at the website linked below, with all purchases helping RNID change the world for deaf and hard of hearing people.

Mark Catling, Director of RNID Products, says: We provide products that change the lives of those who've found they can't hear as well as they used to helping them to regain their independence and live life to the full.

"As a charity we pride ourselves on providing high quality innovative products that don't cost the earth - and with so many products and models to choose from, there is something for everyone."
