National charity launches new mobility shop

Counsel and Care, the national charity getting the best care and support for older people, their families and carers, has teamed up with the online emergency database Contact4Me to provide a new online mobility aids shop.
Accessed from the home page of the Counsel and Care website, the shop provides equipment to provide assistance with walking, sleeping, eating, bathing, and more. Free delivery is available on orders worth £100 or over.
Stephen Burke, Chief Executive of Counsel and Care, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer this additional service to older people, their families and carers, in partnership with Contact4Me.
“These simple pieces of equipment are crucial in helping older people maintain their mobility and well being. A shower stool or grab rail can make all the difference to an older person’s confidence at home, and can give peace of mind to those who care for them.”
