'Chip-Wrecked!' by Iaian Wade

There are so many chip-wrecked
By the onslaught of obesity
Upon the diets we exceed,
And bloat with hamburgers that feed
The cravings of society
Like a gastronomic architect,
But many face the consequence
Of major surgery’s expense
By ignoring healthy food’s excess.
The chip-wrecked who forever dote
Upon multitudes of fried delights
Must teach their pallets common sense,
And demonstrate the evidence
How weight inducing appetites
Never keep man’s gluttony afloat,
But everybody’s power sauce
Can keep their calories on course
For a workout plan they can promote.
The overweight are chip-wrecked
By excessive intakes of fast food
They fry in oceans of deep fat,
And diets overwhelm life’s chat
When greediness can’t be subdued
By a passion painful to reject,
But casting blubber overboard
And by detoxing we’re assured
Of a life good food can redirect.
