The No Diet Diet - which actually works!

"Habits are at first cobwebs, then cables", Spanish proverb
Thinking of going on a diet after stuffing yourself silly over Christmas? Well don't. If you want to lose weight permanently, it's almost certainly the worst thing you could do. With the possible exception of the deep-fried Mars bar, diets are probably the most ineffective means yet devised for losing weight.
Around 95% of people who go on a diet end up just as fat, or even fatter, a year later. To put it bluntly - the diets aren't working. If any diet actually performed as promised, then the obesity epidemic would have been cured long ago. Instead, what have we got? More than two-thirds of the UK's adult population is now overweight or obese - and it's getting worse.
But there IS a way to lose weight permanently, and it lies in the secret of the "No Diet Diet" - a book based on years of scientific investigation which is really simple and hassle-free. The secret lies in breaking the old habits that keep you fat - habits that can become especially hard to change as we get older.
All conventional diets, including low-carb diets, contain the seeds of their own destruction. It is important to understand that you will never ever stay on a diet for more than a few weeks or at best a few months. It is not a question of willpower. Your body has been honed by millions of years of evolution to seek out and consume food - which you cannot change anymore than your need to breathe or your desire for sex. You will eventually return to normal eating, because it is biologically inevitable.
So for the "No Diet Diet" we did something that was revolutionary - we looked at why people were thin! And we found that people and thin people didn’t differ so much in how much they ate or exercised - but in their attitude to the world. We found that, by and large, happy, open-minded people have a collection of habits and traits that keep them slim. So The
"No Diet Diet" boils down to this: the more flexible your behaviour is (and the more open-minded you are), the more weight you’ll lose.
So what does being flexible actually mean? It means making small progressive changes in your life. Each day you need to do something a little differently. Such things as stopping and noticing things on your way to work rather than rushing to the office. It means spending a few moments looking at the flowers in the park, the leaves on the trees, the grip of a baby’s hand on your finger, how your loved one looks when they concentrate, the way a musical tune rises and falls, the colour of your friend’s eyes, the full moon in a black sky. Yes, all these things really are part of a weight-loss programme! Being flexible also means subtly altering your character from day to day, or following the whims of your soul. For example, it could mean being more assertive for a day if you’re normally too laid-back. Or becoming more passive if you are normally a dynamic thrusting person.
Such things as singing in the bath or cracking an unexpected joke can all help you lose weight. It all sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it? We were once as stunned as you are now, but scientific trials have confirmed that the No Diet Diet works. Our promise to you is simply this: 28 days from now you can expect to be around 8lbs (3.5kg) lighter. You will also be happier and more contented with life.
Try it for yourself. You have nothing to lose but your cellulite!
