Join us today for a webchat on Long Term Care funding.

One in four of the UK population will require some form of long-term care in their lifetime - and funding it can be an emotive, complex and expensive prospect. That's way it's important to consider all the funding options available to ensure that assets are suitably protected - however with so many issues to make sense of there is no one size fits all solution.

So join us, and Saga at 1pm today for a webchat aimed at those with parents approaching their later years and also those who want to make sure they and their family don’t have to foot a large bill when they need extra care provision.

The premise for the chat is:

• over a third of people in care are paying for their own care with little or no support from the state
• there is always ongoing uncertainty of not knowing how long funding will be needed - it's easy for the money to run out before the care needs do
• also, there are now fresh changes to consider too - as of 1st October - the eligibility criteria for 'free' care from the NHS gets easier, the Registered Nursing Care Contribution change and enduring powers of attorney will be replaced by lasting powers of attorney.

To join the webchat, which starts at 1pm on 3rd October, just follow the link at the bottom of this page.
